Library
The MRRI library is a collection of research papers, monitoring data, and scientific analysis focused on the Meadowlands region dating back to the establishment of the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission in 1968. Although the HMDC is now defunct, the Meadowlands Research and Restoration Institute and the HMDC share a common goal, the preservation, restoration, and observation of the unique ecology found in the Hackensack Meadowlands region.
The MRRI library is open to the public at no cost, so if you are writing a research paper or have an interest in the history of the Meadowlands our library can point you in the right direction.
PLEASE NOTE: The MRRI library is in the process of digitizing our records, some records may not be available online.
